The Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Engr. Emeka Ezeh, and top officials of the Bureau last week (8 November 2013) paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, at the headquarters of the nation’s apex financial institutions in Abuja. The purpose of the visit was to explore collaboration between the two regulatory institutions on the implementation of the provisions of the Public Procurement Act (2007) on the need for government ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to obtain certificates of “No Objection” from the Bureau for procurements falling above set threshold.
